ARASH BERAL was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006. Mr. Beral is admitted to practice before the state courts of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Beral's primary practice areas include complex construction litigation, labor and employment litigation, business litigation, and real property litigation. Mr. Beral has extensive experience defending and prosecuting numerous multi-million dollar construction contract, defect, and delay litigation matters, including contractor claims for additional payment, enforcement of stop notice, mechanic's liens, contract abandonment, and payment and performance bond claims. In defending contractor claims on behalf of public entity clients, Mr. Beral has extensive experience in handling claims under the California False Claims Act, as well as matters involving the California Public Records Act and California Tort Claims Act. In the labor and employment arena, Mr. Beral has successfully defended employers from various claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, the American with Disabilities Act, and Title VII. Mr. Beral also represents individuals and multi-national corporate clients in general contract, tort, and real property issues.
Mr. Beral received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History, summa cum laude, in three years from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with College of Letters & Science Honors. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the accelerated two-year SCALE program at Southwestern University School of Law, cum laude, in 2006, graduating in the top 10% of his class. While in law school, Mr. Beral was a member of the Southwestern University Law Review, on the Dean’s List, a Dean’s Merit Scholar, and a class representative of the Southwestern Student Bar Association. He received a Southwestern Alumni Association Scholarship Award in 2006, an award given to two students annually.
