Mr. Browning was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1975. Mr. Browning has over thirty years of practice emphasizing business, real property and intellectual property law and litigation for international, national and local clients. His practice includes transactions and litigation in the areas of contracts, trademarks and trade secrets, antitrust, distributor-dealer relations, employment, automotive financing, warranty and real estate sales, leasing, and construction. In addition, he’s partnered with management to plan, coordinate, and implement internal and external programs and policies, development of legal strategies, and coordination responsibilities of legal staff.

Mr. Browning has served as counsel for national automobile distributors in various transactional matters. He has renegotiated software licenses and media contracts achieving multi-million dollar reductions in development and user costs. He has served as project attorney for planning, development, and construction of a 120,000 square foot state of the art design center and 4500 acre automotive proving ground. He was the lead counsel in arbitration involving breach of trademark license and antitrust claims where he obtained dismissal of federal antitrust claims. He has also served as lead counsel for foreign automobile manufacturers and has served as lead counsel in numerous contract and trademark infringement matters.

Mr. Browning is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, the United States District Courts in California and Montana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Courts of Montana and California.

Mr. Browning received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Montana in 1968. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in 1975.
